OUR STORY

Hello Dessert Lovers!

“Heavenly Pastries” was established because of my love for desserts and entertaining people and to bring happiness into their lives. Also, I am an example to my daughter & son especially since I am a single parent, when I started “Heavenly Pastries” and it’s very important to me that I leave them a legacy of empowerment.

One day, I heard a little voice say “Mommy, I wish you could stay home!” That little voice was my 8 year old daughter – Janae. We were both tired of the NYC rat race. I knew then that it was due season for my vision to manifest & decided to act on my lifetime vision of being an entrepreneur.

Cooking/Baking is my passion. It was apparent early on that I was gifted in the area of cooking, baking, food presentation & hospitality. I derived great joy from serving my dolls & stuffed toys delectable pretend cuisine on exquisite play china. I started cooking at age 8 in 1977 with my Easy Bake Oven, always by my Grandparents and Mother’s side while they were cooking. For my first “Show N Tell” in the 6th grade, well of course I baked a Yellow Cake with Chocolate Icing – “A HIT”.

That joy is still present in my heart & I want more than ever to share my joy with others. It is very important to me to show her that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. I decided to take the road not traveled – take that chance, go against the odds knowing I can do this!
Failure is giving up and not trying at all.

I get my dedication & desire from my Mom, my zeal for life from my Grandmother & my humor & smile from my Grandfather! Thanks to all of my family & friends for being my tasters & supporters. Look out World – this is just the tip of the Iceberg!!!
